Rev. Dr. Timothy Corbley
Father Timothy is an ordained member of a Roman Catholic secular institute called Voluntas Dei (Latin for
Will of God). He has been providing spiritual direction since 1992. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy,
a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry with a focus in spiritual and pastoral care. Fr. Timothy's passion
has been offering spiritual direction and he is fervent about helping others to discover the presence of God in their lives.
His doctoral thesis was titled "Sensing the Spirit: Using Intuition in our Spiritual Practice." He has served
as a hospital chaplain, parish priest, spiritual director, teacher, retreat director, and clinical pastoral educator.
He has taught classes in theology, pastoral care, meditation, and pastoral practice. He is a co-founder of Heart
of God.

Kelly O'Brien
Following graduation from St. Mary's College, at Notre Dame, Indiana. Kelly spent a year as a "Volunteer
in Ministry" in Indianapolis. She worked as a pastor's assistant and lived with other volunteers in community in the
inner city.
Later, she spent eight years on staff at Holy Family Parish in Inverness, Illinois. While there, she
was the staff director for the Young Adult Ministry for men and women in the 20's and 30's where she planned retreats and
faith formation opportunities as well as facilitated small faith sharing groups. During that time, Kelly also earned
her certification as a Spiritual Director and then helped establish that ministry in her parish.
After sixteen years in the Chicagoland area, Kelly recently moved to Colorado Springs to be close to
her family. She is currently a member of Holy Apostles Church where she is active with a community of women.
Kelly brings her alive faith, deep sence of hope, and love of Christ to Heart of God.

Gene and Ellen Napier
Gene and Ellen serve on the board of directors and assit in the daily orgainizational
responsibilties of Heart of God. Gene and Ellen are also in formation with Voluntas Dei Institute. They have been
married for 43 years, have two daughters, four grand children, and two great grand children. As a couple they have a
long history of ministry in the Church. They have a broad range of experience including Marriage Encounter, Cursillo,
Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and Scripture Study. They are Certified Master Catechists (specializing
in ministry in the California Juvenvile Detention Facilities and Oregon State Mental Hospitals). They have served
as retreat directors for COR youth retreats. Gene and Ellen bring extensive experience with contemplative retreats with
Fr. Joseph Glynn, O.C.D. and hosting contemplative prayer groups in their home. They have blest Heart of God with
their presence, deep spirituality, sense of prayer, and open hearts.
